ICP HUB BULGARIA / CEE is a dynamic two-year collaboration between RZLT and The DFINITY Foundation aimed at establishing a premier blockchain and Web3 hub in Central and Eastern Europe. Our mission was to proliferate the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) - a innovative Layer 1 blockchain - across a region brimming with innovation and development potential.
ICP HUB BULGARIA / CEE is a dynamic two-year collaboration between RZLT and The DFINITY Foundation aimed at establishing a premier blockchain and Web3 hub in Central and Eastern Europe. Our mission was to proliferate the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) - a innovative Layer 1 blockchain - across a region brimming with innovation and development potential.
Challenge
At the core of this initiative was the challenge of tapping into the developer community. We set out to attract, onboard, and educate developers to build on ICP while simultaneously engaging with some of the region's leading founders to onboard and scale their projects. This dual focus on technical education and project growth was crucial for laying a solid foundation for the ecosystem.
Throughout this journey, RZLT has been actively involved in nurturing the community and driving ICP’s adoption. Over the course of a year and a half, we organized more than 40 meetups, developer workshops, and lectures across the Balkan region. We also collaborated with over 60 partners—from well-established startups and enterprises to student organizations and NGOs—to create a vibrant network of strategic initiatives. Our work extends to fostering collaborations with various stakeholders, including the development of multi-chain, bi-directional bridges that interconnect ICP with other ecosystems, providing growth towards the entire ecosystem.

We have generated over 10 million impressions through placements in renowned outlets such as Bitcoin.com and BeInCrypto, furthermore we have successfully developed and executed more than five major infrastructure projects in coordination with multiple stakeholders and onboarded over 10 high-end developer shops onto the ICP platform. On the content front, our team has produced more than 3,400 unique pieces of content across social media channels and grown the community to over 8,000 active members.
As of 2025, ICP HUB CEE is not stopping. We remain committed to expanding education around decentralized on-chain artificial intelligence, Chain-Fusion, and multi-chain interoperability, while strategically partnering with global and regional stakeholders to drive further innovation. This ongoing journey reflects our dedication to empowering the next generation of decentralized solutions in Central and Eastern Europe.
