LAQO, the first 100 percent digital insurance brand in Croatia, has stepped into the metaverse with a playful twist on traditional insurance. In collaboration with Bruketa&Žinić&Grey, RZLT provided support on the blockchain & creative side establishing the world’s first LAQO Insurance Museum—a unique virtual experience on Decentraland that turns outdated insurance practices into a whimsical, interactive exhibit.

The museum offers visitors an immersive journey into the history and evolution of insurance practices. Users can experience the tedious bureaucracy of filling out endless forms or waiting endlessly for an insurance officer to return from lunch, all while being guided towards a modern, digital alternative. For those opting for digital insurance, the museum provides a direct link to the LAQO website along with an eco-friendly alert, highlighting the CO2 emissions saved by their choice.
Located on the decentralized Decentraland platform—a virtual world where users exchange, trade, and promote digital assets—the LAQO Insurance Museum not only celebrates the legacy of traditional insurance but also underscores the brand’s commitment to tech innovation.
